DIY Faux Mantel
To create a stylish and affordable "faux mantel," find a vintage mantel, clean and paint it with chalk paint and wax, then secure it to your wall and decorate it to add a fireplace-like focal point to your room.
We make your design process fun and easy. With Hopewell, you can personalize with our designers in a few simple steps:
Set an interior upgrade allowance with your Sales team before you purchase – this will allow you to have a budget for upgrades. No upgrade budget? No problem! We have tons of amazing, high-quality included finishing features to choose from. After you buy, you’ll receive an invitation to book your personal selection appointment.
In the meantime, we welcome you to visit the Design Studio in your community to view our selection options or browse the Gallery on the Hopewell Website, where you can view images and virtual tours of show homes.
Once you receive the invite to your one-on-one design appointment, you can book through our automatic booking platform. Next we’ll send you a fun Design Quiz which gives us an overview of your design style for your Design Consultant to review prior to your appointment.
Step 3 is an absolute breeze. Meet with our Design Consultants in person at the Design Studio to complete your selections. They’ll have pulled sample recommendations based on your quiz, but you have free rein to choose from any of our selections.
You can see everything in one place, all at our easy-to-find show homes, which means you can also see how finishings look in real homes. We really want to make this as simple and stress-free as possible for you. In fact, you’ll have just one appointment, and it only takes about three hours.
Once selections are confirmed, your Design Consultant will send you your selections and pricing to review and you can make adjustments, if required. Once you’re ready to sign off, you can do that remotely – allowing you to review and approve all Hopewell Design Studio documents at your convenience. Sign the dotted line, and let the building begin!
